I was diagnosed with Celiac's Disease at the age of 20. I never really followed a diet besides not eating gluten, wheat, and barley. Turns out, it's pretty easy to be gluten free. Most chips are naturally gluten free and I won't ever turn down chips (shoutout to hot cheetos).
After some thought, I decided to reach out to Imago Fitness, and asked about the 12 week transformation. I wasn't looking to lose weight, I'm what you would call "skinny-fat". I wanted to tone and get a better understanding of what I should be eating. I'm a VERY picky eater. The Imago Fitness staff assured me that Coach knows what she's doing and would be able to give me great meal plans. My list of dislikes were longer than my list of likes. I can't eat gluten, I hate all types of seafood, I'm not big on cheese, I am not a fan of chicken, and some vegetables I will not eat (and this is just the condensed version). So you can imagine my hesitation.
Coach was able to curate great meal plans for me. She checked in multiple times to see how I was doing too. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but now, it's hard for me NOT to have a meal plan ready. Imago really kickstarted my fitness journey.
I now feel better about myself and what I'm putting in my body. I'm more educated on diet and exercise. And in the process, I lost some weight and gained muscle.
Thanks to everyone at Imago for helping and being encouraging.
